Estate Planning Council February Speakers Meeting

Register to attend our meeting with Victor Santiago, Senior Vice President of Wealth Strategist/Truist Wealth. He will be discussing "The Corporate Transparency Act: Requirements and Best Practices."

Discussed will be rules that went into effect at the beginning of 2024 that now require most business entities to report who their Beneficial Owners are to FinCEN.   Included for discussion will be the requirements of the “Reporting Rule” (FinCEN’s main regulation on the requirements), an identification of open areas that are still unclear under the Rule, and a discussion of best practices to help business owners better ensure compliance.
